Framing Letter #5&6

I was very good at recognizing local errors because when I was younger, my teachers usually had us focus on those when peer reviewing. Another piece that my teachers really had us focus on was citations. We mostly did MLA, but some teachers in my last years of high school also had us focus on APA and Chicago, just in case we came across them in college. When I was writing my papers in the beginning of the semester I would usually look for and fix surface errors first. Now, however, I have learned to do them last because they aren’t the most important. Also, because if you do them first and then end up writing an entirely new paragraph when you edit your content, you either have to go back through to edit surface errors again, or you risk having more than you started with.
